About Fenix Volleyball
History
Fenix Volleyball Club was founded in Calgary by a passionate group of volleyball enthusiasts united by a shared vision of fostering excellence both on and off the court. From its earliest days, the club has focused on creating a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment where young athletes can grow as players and individuals. At the heart of our culture is a strong sense of camaraderie — we work hard, support one another, and celebrate successes like a family, always remembering that volleyball should be as fun as it is challenging.
Mission
Our mission is to inspire players of all levels to develop a lifelong love for volleyball while building strong fundamental skills through quality coaching and consistent training. We are committed to fostering personal growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship, ensuring that every athlete develops both as a player and as a person. Beyond athletic development, we encourage our athletes to be active contributors beyond the court. Through service projects, leadership opportunities, and partnerships with local organizations, players learn the value of giving back and using their skills to uplift others. Guided by our highly experienced coaching staff, we focus on refining each player’s technical abilities, strategic understanding, and competitive mindset, preparing them to perform at their highest potential within their age group and beyond. Through expert training, a culture of teamwork, and a passion for service, we aim to empower our athletes to excel in sport and make a lasting, positive impact wherever they go.
