Mirka Lindberg (Pribylova)

Originally from the Czech Republic, Mirka Lindberg (Pribylova) is a highly ccomplished volleyball player and coach. She starred as the starting setter for the University of Alberta Pandas from 1993 to 1998, winning four consecutive CIAU national championships and earning multiple individual honors, including CIAU Player of the Year (1996, 1997) and Canada West MVP (1996–1998). She also played professionally in Europe and represented Canada’s national team from 1998–2002, competing at the 2002 World Championships.

Transitioning to coaching, Mirka served as an assistant with the University of Calgary women’s volleyball team, helping them win the 2004 national championship. She is now the head coach of the Boys’ Dinos Volleyball Club in Calgary, where she continues to develop athletes with her technical expertise, leadership, and passion for the game.
